The Mariage Frères “Five golden rules of tea preparation”

Regula #1: First, preheat the tea pot and the sieve.

Regula #2: Measure the tea with the already preheated sieve and leave it some moments to let the steam to awake the tea leaves’ aroma.

Regula #3:Pour the hot (but not boiling) water over the tea leaves. For white and green tea, the temperature of the water should be close to the boiling point.

Regula #4: Leave the tea to lay down depending on the size and variety of the leaves.

Regula #5:Put aside the sieve with the leaves. Stir and serve.
